I can highly recommend these guys. I wanted to build a small home and was on a very tight budget. I had a design in mind and I had shopped around so I knew my budget was hard to meet with what I wanted. Daryn and Matt met with me and said they thought they could do it. The project was completed with in budget and within 5 months. During the project I was living at the property in a caravan with two young children, which was not a problem for them or any of the tradesmen. Anytime I called with an observation or request they were very accommodating. Value and service was outstanding.

We recently had our forever home built through D A Burke. After previously building with another company where we felt like just another number we decided we would like to go with a local company. When we first started going through the design phase Matt and Daryn completely understood our vision and everything we hoped for in a house whilst also being respectful of our budget. Throughout the build we made many phone calls and sent endless amounts of emails, sometimes just to ask a question or to make a change. Nothing was ever an issue for Daryn and Matt and they would always respond within a quick time frame. At each stage of the build we received many photos and updates to show the progress of the house as we are located in the wheatbelt we where not always in a position to drive to Mandurah to see the build. When we did make trips to see the progress we were always welcomed to come through and have a look. The end result was nothing short of high quality and attention to detail. My husband and I now have a beautiful home that we can now share with our new family that we have started to enjoy for many years to come. We have received alot of positive feedback from family, friends and general public going past the house which speaks for itself.
Thank you Daryn and Matt for the hard work that you put into making our dream home. We will forever be greatful for the stress free build experience that we have had.

Have just finished building our forever home built by DA Burke Builders, we couldn’t be happier with the overall experience from start to finish. We were promised at the start of the build that we would be finished and in by Christmas and this was delivered four weeks ahead of schedule which allowed us to move in and get comfortable prior to family coming for the holidays. We ended up building with DA Burke because they understood what our vision for the house and how to make it happen . The end to end process was smooth with regularly updates throughout the process . Very professional team.

Unfortunately we ended up not proceeding with the building of our holiday home but this was purely due to the massive jumps in building costs in the current market. During the planning process however, of the three builders we dealt with, we found DA Burke to be the most responsive and professional. From the initial meeting through to our regrettable decision not to proceed, Daryn stayed in regular contact without being pushy and kept us informed on progress and developments in the building industry. We had frank discussions on the pro’s and con’s of going ahead and at all times I always felt he was focused on our interests and not his own. Had we decided to go ahead, assuming their quote was competitive I would have been very happy to use DA Burke.

We built our new home (completed in April 2021) using DA Burke’s patented Designstone building system. We chose this because of its strength. I’ve seen a photo of a resort Burkes built in Kalbarri using Designstone and it was basically untouched by Cyclone Seroja while the building next door lost its roof and was extensively damaged.
Perth’s winter cold fronts are no longer a cause for sleepless nights.
The whole build process was very good with excellent communication. At each stage of the build they brought in cleaners so there was never any chance of rubbish being left to cause issues later on.
It’s a steel frame build with the primary steel uprights filled with concrete during the application of the Designstone panels. So each upright C channel becomes a steel encased concrete pillar. I have 267 of these in the perimeter of the house. The steel frames are bolted to the concrete pad and to each other. It is never going to move.
Their experience building commercial properties meant that my large garage did not present any problems for them at all. We love it.
If you choose to build with DA Burke you will get a strong house, excellent attention to detail, and great communications throughout the build from the Burkes and their quality trades.

We built a new house with DA Burke in 2020 and from start to finish Daryn and Matt were excellent to work with.
We chose to build because we wanted something special and decided to engage an architect rather than build something from a project builder. When we had finalised the designs we tendered them out to five boutique builders. From the preliminary quote until after completion, DA Burke have been amazing to work with.
Of the five builders, we tendered two only. Daryn took the time to make suggestions about how we could reduce costs and improve our home. Their quote was highly competitive and, after meeting with Daryn and Matt, we decided they were the ones to build our house.
One thing that impressed me from the outset was that whenever I visited the site it was tidy and clean. The trades people they use do high quality work and take pride in it, as do Daryn and Matt. No project as big as house construction is without problems, but when anything arose Daryn and Matt we very easy to deal with and keen to deliver the best outcome for us, the client. Our house went up quickly and we were so pleased in the final weeks leading up to Christmas that they worked hard to get trades on site to ensure we were finished before the 25th.
Since the house was completed and we have taken possession they have quickly arranged to fix any little issues that have arisen. The fit out is of the highest quality and our home is very comfortable.
Before we started building we heard from many people about the stress of building. I can honestly say with DA Burke we had absolutely no stress.
